Kids in the summer

A family holiday in the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena promises fun for young and old. In addition to the many trails, which are also suitable for prams, there is a lovely playground in Lermooser Lusspark, the panoramic outdoor swimming pool in Lermoos, the indoor swimming pool in Ehrwald, the summer toboggan run in Biberwier, and much more… During the summer, there are often children's parties.

We offer you some tips for activities, which will make the children’s' hearts jump for joy.


Canyoning: A very special experience. You can directly travel through the ravine like the water itself. Hiking, abseiling, jumping, sliding, climbing, and swimming – immerse yourself into the world of canyoning. It will be an adventure you won't soon forget. There are different levels of difficulty. You will be provided with special equipment and certified guides. The minimum age is six years.


3D archery course in Ehrwald: Beginners and advanced archers can test their skills with a bow and arrow by shooting at 30 animal dummies while enjoying the time out on the beautifully landscaped course. The 3D archery course stations are adapted to the natural terrain and designed in a wide variety of ways. The trail takes about three hours to walk. Summer toboggan run in Biberwier Tyrol's longest summer toboggan run is 1300 m long with 40 curves and one tunnel. You will toboggan through beautiful scenery and overcome nearly 200 vertical metres to the Valley Station of the Marienberg lift. You will be transported to the mounted via chairlift. 4 km from Lermoos




Monster scooter and mountain carts in Biberwier: The fun roller offers "great fun for young and old". Experience the spectacular panorama and scoot from Marienberg Biberwier to the bottom station with the latest equipment. At a distance of 4 km, you will overcome a difference in altitude of nearly 700 m. 4 km from Lermoos


Bichlbach zoo and amusement park: Here you will find animals such as rabbits, goats, ponies, and donkeys but also alpacas, kangaroos, raccoons, wild boars, monkeys, deer, marmots, mice, prairie dogs, peacocks, ducks, geese, owls, chickens, birds, eagles, and pigeons. Bichlbach climbing forest: Here you can test your strength, courage, balance, and dexterity. In the Bichlbach climbing forest, five exciting courses with over 60 exciting climbing elements await. Floating elements, trapeze, a giant spider web, or a cable car over the stream – everything you need to explore the climbing forest. For families with children aged five years and older, there is a special beginner's course. The elements are simple and playful, making it ideal for beginners and children. 8 km from Lermoos




"Zugspitzi" water adventure in Ehrwald: A 3.3 km long circuit with exciting stations to play, explore, and rest. Duration approx. 2.5 h. The trail begins at the base of Ehrwalder Almbahn, runs alongside the Gaisbach, brings you to a viewpoint with stunning views of the sparkling Seeben waterfall, and finally back via the Almmähder. 6 km from Lermoos


Moosle's nature trail in Lermoos: Explore the beauty and diversity of the alpine flora and fauna of the Grubigstein. With seven exciting, fun, and nature stations, Moosle's nature trail, which starts from the central station at 1338 m above sea level, provides fun and entertainment for the whole family against the magnificent mountain scenery of the Grubigstein. The seven stations include a tree house, biotope, forest adventure, playground, and observation tower.


Ehrenberg Burgenmuseum in Reutte: Immerse yourself in the Middle Ages! - "On the tracks of knights" In the museum, which is a "touch" museum, adults and children can get a fascinating insight into the times of knights and damsels. You can be knighted or made a damsel here. Or you can you go on the "Magic Ehrenberg sword" or the "fabled Schlosskopf treasure" treasure hunt. Knappenwelt in Tarrenz is a destination for young and old. In the "Knappenwelt Gurgltal", you can experience the hard but fascinating life of the miners. Imst Alpine Coaster is the longest Alpine roller coaster! The start of the fast-paced fun is right at the central station in Hochimst at 1500 m. After only a few meters you will encounter the first surprises: waves, steep curves, and rapid bends await the breathless passenger. Partnach gorge in Garmisch-Partenkirchen: The Partnach gorge is an excursion for young and old alike. With a length of 700 m and a depth of about 80 m, the Partnach gorge is certainly one of the highlights for travellers to our region. Although you cannot park your car directly in front of the gorge, you can still reach it with one of the carriages. Your car can be parked at the ski stadium parking lot. 25 km from Lermoos


Ötzidorf in Umhausen: An open-air archaeological park that illustrates "life in the Neolithic period", the time of Ötzi. Saturday is family day. The whole family can embark on a short journey into the Stone Age. During a tour through the Ötzi village, you will be immersed in a world of days past – lighting fires like Ötzi, creating Ötzi's arrow, playing in the Stone Age playground, and baking flat bread baked on a stone slab. 58 km from Lermoos


Area 47 in Ötztal-Bahnhof: Rafting, canyoning, and other outdoor adventures in the Ötztal amusement park.
